A recording of the beautiful Saltarello played at a closed session at Tønder Festival 2018.
The recording was set the day after our performance at the FOLK SPOT stage. Indeed a well remembered and beautiful experienced to play there.
Captured live at Tønder Festival, 2018
Sessions filmed at Hotel Tønderhus, Tønder, Denmark
Produced by Beehive Productions
in collaboration with M.C. Hansen [FolkSpot]and Linda Fahey [FolkAlley.com]
Our own interpretation of the melodies:
1. Donna s’Amor (Egidius de Francia — Frankrig, 1300-tallet)
2. Cantigas de Santa Maria #26: “Non e Gran Cousa” (Spanien, 1200-tallet)
3. Tant m’Abelis (Berenguier de Palazol, Spanien,1100-tallet)
Camera: Emma Engström (www.svengstrom.se)
Editing: Mads Kjøller-Henningsen
Music recorded and mixed by Michael Caplin at Skurups Folkhögskola 2014
Thanks to:
Malmöhus: Camilla Wallin and Restaurant Wega (www.restaurangwega.se) for location.
Per Mårtensson, Kaj Persson and Luntertuns Atilleri Corps — (www.luntertunsartilleri.se)
for contributing to the making of this beatiful medieval setting.
This is one of our earlier promotion videos put together by Mads Kjøller Henningsen. The music is as it always was – the melodies captivating and the full experience breathtaking.

Setting: Den frie Lærerskole, Ollerup, Hovdala Medeltidsmarknad, Bork Vikingehavn, Medeltidsveckan Visby, Middelaldercenteret Nykøbing Falster, Varberg Medeltidsmarknad.
During both day and nighttime.
This is the conclusive presentation of Pøbels performance at Tønder Festival.
The general theme: Eat Drink and Be Merry!
We are so happy to have had so many wonderful experiences amongst brilliant people that we kvow and adore.
As a fun fact this gig led the way for more international performances, since we flew til France the following summer for a festival called Het Lindeboom where we greeted the Mayor and many other.
